How my story can help you

I spent the first decade of my career in management positions, where I both learned to work strategically and analytically to cultivate sustainable change and to guide organizations successfully through transformations (shifts in process, technology, and culture). However always putting the highest expectations on myself I suffered from chronic fatigue, dealt with self-doubt, and often wondered, how to fit in a world where everyone wants more.
The corona pandemic and completing my first yoga teacher training in 2021 proved to be major catalysts for my personal transformation and emotional healing. By diving deep into the physical and philosophical system of yoga—disciplines beyond just the poses—I learned the most powerful set of tools to attain calm, focus, and career success in a balanced and healthy way. Since going on to complete more than 1000 hours in a variety of disciplines and move on to gain as much knowledge as I can.

Something about teaching yoga ignited a power source I didn’t know I had. In the corporate and Start-Up world, I learned the discipline required to achieve the seemingly impossible. From yoga, I’ve learned the power of calming down enough to reflect and choose the path you want to take. Through Yoga, I finally had a tool to reduce anxiety and to create balance in my life. Today I am living with more strength, ease, and gratitude. I truly believe that Yoga has the power to unlock a person’s maximum creativity, innovation, professional potential, and balanced health. My purpose is to give you guidance and inspiration for your own journey and to take action and awareness in self-healing to find peace and confidence in your work, relationships, and life. I would like to help you find physical and mental balance and become the best version of yourself.

Yoga isn’t just about joint flexibility and chanting "om." Neither nor is it fitness or competition. It’s about gaining awareness of your body — how it feels, how it moves, and how it responds to its surroundings. Yoga is about engaging your soul, your breath, your mind and your body to reach a state of inner calm and balance. As a result, yoga puts you in a position to engage compassionately, honestly, and mindfully, with yourself but also with others. This mindful engagement with others is what sets great leaders apart from good ones.

My Yoga Classes

I am a passionate practitioner of therapeutic, alignment-focused yoga and guide students towards healthier and happier relationships with their bodies and minds. Next to Vinyasa Flow, I also practice Ashtanga and Iyengar. Principles of both will always be present in my classes.

My classes are with ease yet powerful and dynamic, challenging and sprinkled with humor. I have studied with many amazing, inspiring teachers all over the world, to which I also include every one of my students and fellow students, who continue to likewise teach and inspire me every day.

Yoga for Stress Relief and Anxiety

In our world today where stress levels can seem higher than ever, Yoga has been proven to help reduce stress levels associated with anxiety and depression. It helps to shift the brain from fight or flight, which creates stress in the system, to the parasympathetic which creates homeostasis, the system's ability to heal and repair.

Yoga, Breathwork and Meditation can easily be integrated into everyday business life, especially when the yoga teacher comes directly to your office to teach. Whether it be a short meditation early in the morning or during lunch break, a yoga calss with physical exercises with the whole team, or a more in-depth workshop after work – Together we can discuss what fits best to your organisation and your employees needs.


Yoga for injury recovery

If you're struggling with pain, postural imbalances and limited mobility due to an injury or other musculoskeletal condition, yoga could be just the exercise and physical conditioning your body needs to help it heal. When it comes to healing from traumatic injuries, the mental aspect is almost as important as the physical component. Yoga is one of the few methologies that effectively addresses both elements, making it an excellent part of your overall healing and recovery plan.

Yoga Retreats

After working more then 10 years in the tourism sector and being a true nature lover I am happy to use my experience in organising and coordinating retreats in the most beautiful places of the world.

The concept of a yoga retreat is that you take a break from your daily routine and disconnect from "old" patterns and habits for a few days. This allows you to have some time with yourself and reconnect with the innermost part of you. That reconnection is something that will transpire to your daily life once you are back. It can be very transformative and you may look at things from a different or new perspective and evetually incorporate small changes and begin to build the life you would like to live.
