"Every child is an artist. The problem is to remain an artist once they grow up."
Pablo Picasso

Art has had an important role in my life from an early age. My grandmother was a painter and fortunately I not only had inherited her talent, but also had the opportunity to develop my skills through her since childhood. From watercolor art to pencil drawings as well as oil paintings, she was not only my teacher but also my role model.

During my school years I took part in several painting competitions and slowly developed my own style. However, there are no rules in my artwork. So sometimes I love the combination of painting techniques and unprecedented colour combinations.

A creative process

My artistic recognition: I love to paint places where I connected with nature and which trigger certain emotions in me like the mountains. They have always been my source of inspiration and a place where I can fully recharge my batteries. For me – they symbolize the immersion in nature – wild, powerful, alive, raw, and incredibly beautiful at the same time. With my art, I hope to awaken these emotions in people, too.

Most of the time I paint with acrylic colors. Acrylic painting as a trend is relatively young and can be used for any kind of painting technique and style. The water-based fast-drying paint widely used by artists since the 1960s. It is modern, accessible, saturated, and versatile. My love for nature is reflected in the colors I use, too – mostly earth shades or smooth colors. A polygon (often) completes my work of art.
